  How the programme runs

  Each term features a series of engaging weekly themes that build on one another. We run three terms per year:

  The Sing and Sign programme is delivered over ten/five different engaging weekly themes throughout the year. 

  Spring term mid January

  Summer term late April

  Autumn term mid September

  In Person and Online Courses

  We offer three age appropriate in person classes and Award Winning pre recorded streamed Online Class@Home.

  Babes (1m-5m)

  Stage 1 (6m-13m)

  Stage 2 (14m – 26m)

  Our Award Winning Online Class@Home can be purchased separately. Pre-recorded and streamed to your home at any time to suit you. Great for sharing with other family members, and helpful in case you miss a class or once back at work (available one week at the time).

  Common questions

  Will baby signing delay my baby’s speech?
  No. Sing and Sign is designed to work alongside spoken language, not replace it. You always say the word as you make the sign. Many speech and language professionals recommend baby signing because it can support understanding and give babies a way to express themselves before they can talk.

  Is baby signing only for deaf babies?
  No. While sign language is essential for many deaf children, baby signing with hearing babies is about enhancing early communication. Our signs are based on natural gestures and simple adaptations of British Sign Language, used together with speech.

  What is baby signing?

  Baby signing is a wonderful tool to encourage and aid communication with your little one, complementing speech development.

  Incorporating simple gestures and signs alongside spoken language can enhance babies’ confidence, comprehension, and overall cognitive and emotional development. Being able to express themselves before speech not only enriches early communication but also reduces frustration for both you and your baby.

  Baby signing is not a separate sign language, but a natural and fun way to boost understanding.
