  The 10 week Summer Term begins on:

  • Thursday 9th April in Broadstone (Scout Hall on Dunyeats Road here)
  • Monday 13th April in Swanage (Catholic Hall on Rempstone Road here)
  • Wednesday 15th April in Wareham (Carey Hall here)

  Free and reduced-price courses available for families who wouldn't otherwise be able to access baby signing classes. Please email me (mariel@singandsign.co.uk) for availability and discount codes, and include your baby's name and age and which venue you'd prefer. It is treated confidentially, with no judgement or questions asked. I just ask that you are honest with yourself about what you can afford to pay when choosing your discount code, so that as many families as possible can benefit from the donated classes.

  Sing and Sign teaches baby signing the fun way - through music!
  Learn to communicate with your baby before they can talk
  
  BENEFITS OF BABY SIGNING
  Using simple hand gestures, your baby can ask for MILK, a NAPPY CHANGE, tell you they’re TIRED, or point out something they’ve seen or heard (a BIRD or MOTORBIKE for example)

  
  

  In addition, scientific research has shown that babies who are taught to sign are more likely to have:

  • Stronger bonds with caregivers
  • Reduced frustration and fewer tantrums
  • Use longer spoken phrases and sentences aged 2
  • Vocabulary of a 4 year old at age 3
  • Higher IQ aged 8

  OUR CLASSES
  We have three age-appropriate classess:

  
  

  BABES (0-6 months)

  Simple songs and gentle games to promote early communication
  Tea, coffee and biscuits included
  Book with a friend to bring two babies for the price of one using the code 241BABES
  
  STAGE ONE (6-14 months)
  Learn over 100 signs to support daily routines and encourage interests
  
  STAGE TWO (12-24 months)
  Use over 250 signs to introduce concepts including colours, counting, phonics and pottying
  
  WHERE AND WHEN
  Classes are held in
  

  • Swanage on Mondays
  • Wareham on Wednesdays
  • Broadstone on Thursdays

  10 week terms start in January, April and September, with occasional holiday sessions
