  Hello!

  I'm Kirsty, your local Sing and Sign teacher.
  

  My daughter and I abSoluteLy LoVed attending Sing and Sign together. It enabled her to be able to communicate with signs before she could speak, and really did accelerate and enhance her early speech and language development.
  

  The Sing and Sign programme and JessieCat have been and continue to be, a very special part of our early journey together and I'm so happy to now be able to teach this wonderful programme to other parents and their babies.

  
  

  Having recently returned to the beautiful part of Yorkshire where I spent my own childhood, I'm delighted to be sharing the magic of Sing and Sign in this area and can't wait to meet you and your little ones in class!

  WHICH CLASS SHOULD WE ATTEND?

  We never charge extra for twins! Please fill out the multiple births info when booking into your chosen class.

  Sing and Sign Babes - for babies 0 to 5 months

  ...is a lovely, gentle sensory and music class with a strong emphasis on communication and is open to babies from birth or from when you feel able to get out with your baby and enjoy some music together. The course introduces the basics of the Sing and Sign approach for those keen to sign with their babies and will include some simple signs. We show you lovely adaptations of familiar songs to enjoy with your baby while face to face, during nappy change, bath-time, bedtime and gentle play. This course is offered in blocks of 5 to 8 weeks.

  The babes course includes access to the Babes online @Home resources, which includes the @Home video course and streaming of the babes audio CD. You'll also be given our lovely Jessie Cat Song book with CD.

  Sing and Sign Stage One - for babies 6 to 14 months

  Your baby will be ready for Stage 1 from around 6 months or older at the start of term. This is because he/she will be sitting up, becoming more aware and ready to enjoy the music, the toys and props and social aspects of this class.
  We cover basic signs for use during daily care activities and explore themes such as emotions ad going out. We also cover lots of signs for things that all babies are interested in and love to communicate about, such as animals and vehicles. You'll be shown over 200 signs in Stage One! all delivered with our magic ingredient - music!

  If you have already completed one term of Stage One, and your baby is still under 14 months, then we recommend coming back for a 2nd term. Coming for a second term enables you to really benefit from and see the course content and ideas in action at home, as your baby will be growing developmentally and will be ready to respond and communicate more and more!

  In addition to the 10 week in-person classes, you'll get 365 days of Gold Membership to The Jessie Cat Club, an amazing online resource containing all things Sing and Sign. Gold membership includes access to the @Home classes, ten weeks of pre-recorded video classes that correspond to the content of the in-person classes, so if you can't make it to class for any reason, you won't miss out on the content for that week. The Jessie Cat Club is a great way to share your Sing and Sign journey with others closely involved in your baby's life so that the whole family can get involved in the magic! 

  Sing and Sign Stage Two - for babies 14 to 30 months

  If your baby is a little older, you may feel ready for a class with a little more activity! Even if you've never done Sing and Sign before, in our Stage Two class we still include the basic advice on how to sign with your baby and have some lovely songs to enjoy, covering concepts such as the weather, colours, being helpful, simple counting, opposites and we even begin phonetic awareness, all enjoyed through our magic ingredient - music! There are opportunities to move about more, and plenty of props to keep your little one amused!

  In addition to the 10 week in-person classes, you'll get 365 days of Premium Membership to The Jessie Cat Club, an amazing online resource containing all things Sing and Sign. Premium membership includes access to the @Home classes, ten weeks of pre-recorded video classes that correspond to the content of the in-person classes, so if you can't make it to class for any reason, you won't miss out on the content for that week. The Jessie Cat Club is a great way to share your Sing and Sign journey with others closely involved in your baby's life so that the whole family can get involved in the magic! 

  
  

  Classes are delivered in 10 week terms with breaks that follow Bradford school holidays.

  Babes is delivered in blocks OF 5 TO 8 weeks.
