  Hello and welcome to Sing and Sign Southeast Kent! We deliver award-winning baby signing classes in Dover, Folkestone and Dymchurch.

  
  

  Hi, I'm Sarah!
  I'm a mum of two and part-time primary school teacher. I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies and have a music specialism.
  I first discovered Sing and Sign 11 years ago when I attended classes with my daughter. Seeing her sign what she needed and how she felt before she had the ability to talk was just magical! I love how our bond grew as we learnt something together. Baby signing brings so many benefits for your baby and for you as a family. 
  With the help of Jessie Cat, I look forward to introducing more families to the wonderful world of baby signing!

  Is Stage 1 suitable for my baby?

  Stage 1 classes are for babies from 6 months to around 18 months. We use songs, rhymes, instruments, toys and props in a relaxed, fun and friendly class. We cover lots of different themes to help parents and babies learn lots of signs relevant to babies daily lives. 

  
  

  Taster sessions
  

  If you'd like to see what Sing and Sign is all about, we are having taster / trial sessions at each of our venues week commencing 14th September.

  If you'd like to attend the trial session for £5, please click "Check class availability" then "Special events / tasters" on the booking page. 

  
  

  Booking for the term

  Please click on 'Check class availability' then on "Stage One" to book for the term. Classes cost £8.50 per session, £85 for the term. 

  We are currently offering Stage One classes. These are for babies from 6 months who are sitting, crawling and beginning to walk. If you're unsure if your baby is at an appropriate age for this class, please don't hesitate to drop me a message!

  What is baby signing?

  Babies use all kinds of signs and gestures as a natural part of learning to talk. Encouraging your baby with extra signs like milk, more, change nappy or tired will help your baby communicate. Baby signing with Sing and Sign is easy because we make it fun to learn! Your baby will recognise important words sooner and can use the signs to "talk" to you before speech. 

  
  

  
  

  

  
  
  

• Nurseries

  Sing and Sign offers training to local nurseries through the Nursery Affiliation Programme or 'NAP'. 

  Take a NAP with a difference!
  

   

  We will train staff on your own premises at a time to suit you.  We teach staff a selection of signs, tailor-made to the nursery's individual requirements and design an Individual Action Plan to inspire staff and make signing fun and easy to incorporate in their day-to-day activities.

  Following training, the nursery will receive a Certificate of Sing and Sign Affiliation together with ongoing access to our signing resources and the licensing to use our copyrighted products.
