  Hello!

  By being here, you are doing something wonderful for your baby and family: developing your little one's early communication. We hope to meet you and your baby soon.

   

  Next term is Bookable Now!

  Sing and Sign Bath is opening in January 2026, classes do tend to get booked up quickly, so do please hurry so as not to miss out! I am currently offering Stage 1 classes which are suitable for babies around 6-12 months. Over the course of 2026 I will also be running Babes classes for those under 6 months and Stage 2, for 13-24 months.

  
  Stage 1 is for 6-12 months and is a 10 week programme for £85, reduced as the term goes on.

  
  

  Our class-based terms also include access to our award-winning online platform, on-demand lessons for those at home and for Stages 1 and 2, a fortnightly zoom. This has been updated, is now easier to access and has more content including a range of educational and captivating videos, games and a signing library.  

  
  Where do we teach? 

  I am currently running classes at New Oriel Hall in Larkhall and The Hub at Mulberry Park, and more venues will be added over the course of 2026.

  Can't make our classes?

  We've got you. Class@Home can be online only for stages 1 and 2. This includes membership to our award-winning platform and 10 on-demand lessons that follow our class-based programme for £50.

  New for this year, you can now watch the lessons in any order to enjoy which one you like when you like. Perfect when our babies have a favourite!

  About me 

  I'm Sarah and I'm so excited to be teaching Sing and Sign in Bath! I first came to Sing and Sign when my daughter was a few months old and in addition to the classes being a lovely way to connect with other parents, I was amazed at the impact that learning signing had upon my daughter's communication skills and the communication between us. I believe that much frustration was avoided by her being able to tell me what she wanted, and we had lots of beautiful moments where we realised we were both understanding each other.

  What will you learn at Sing and Sign?

  Sing and Sign is a fantastic activity to do with your baby! We teach baby signing alongside music, rhymes and games in our venue based classes, online and in nurseries. 

  > You will learn over 100 signs in each stage to help you connect and communicate with your baby.

  > You will discover new songs and games to help make every part of your day together fun.

  > Your baby will learn to engage and socialise with others whilst learning life skills such as making friends, helping others, taking turns and of course, communicating.

  > It is so special when your baby first tells you something through signing - whether it is naming a favourite animal or asking for 'milk' and a bite to 'eat'!  You will also meet other parents from your area with babies of a similar age.  Some lifelong friends have been made at our classes!!

  >Your baby will love listening to the singing, engaging with the teacher, playing the instruments and interacting with the other children - and Jessie Cat!

  Families tell us over and over again how much they enjoy our classes and how beneficial signing has been for them. We are lucky to have welcomed back many families with their new babies so we know we must be doing something right!

  Tell me more about your online platform - The Jessie Cat Club

  This is an award-winning resource that is included with all of our bookings. For Babes you have access to valuable insights from a speech and language therapist on your baby's development as well as mini lessons to share with those at home. 

  For stages 1 and 2, Gold or Premium access is included (respectively) and includes:

  - 12months membership

  - Over 250 baby-useful signs with video clips

  - Printable bespoke signing resource with over 250 words

  - Themed lessons and music videos taking you through the curriculum

  - Interactive Games with Jessie Cat's Peekaboo being the favourite! The counting and phonics games are great too!

  What is Sing and Sign CLASS@HOME? 

  Most of our families enjoy class based lessons. Class@Home is included with these but is also a stand-alone option if you can't make classes. They are part of our wider Jessie Cat Club online platform also included.

  A preview of our fabulous Sing and Sign Class@Home is below.  This wonderful resource is a programme of 10 pre-recorded lessons, available on demand with unlimited viewing during the term  You can make Sing and Sign Class@Home part of your daily routine!  

  Filmed by Sing and Sign teachers across the country, the magic of Sing and Sign comes home in 10 weekly, themed online sessions.  The online class feels very much like your in person class following the usual format with familiar songs, felt board, instruments and of course Jessie Cat playing peek-a-boo!

  If you are not a fan of screens for little ones, you can watch the class without your baby first to see the signs then send the audio through a speaker and sing along with your baby!

  These online classes are also great for those returning to work, families who can't find a suitable day, or even those Stage Two graduates who don't want to give up just yet as there is no age limit on our classes@home!
